Fat Girl Singing
“Hashtag body positivity isn’t good enough any more. We need to burn it all down. Because that’s what they’re afraid of - if we start enough fires at the bottom of the ladder, everything will come falling down.”
Fat Girl Singing is an autobiographical one woman show about fatness and music. Armed with a guitar, original songs and a fridge full of drinks, Fat Girl Singing is a funny, uplifting and compelling anthem for those who have ever felt their body is up for debate. A call to arms for anyone who doesn’t fit the model.

Things people have said
“The hour-long performance is charming yet unabashedly, infectiously angry. As a performer, Geraghty radiates warmth, but she’s not about to apologise for her rage or for her body.”The Guardian
“Man! That turn of phrase, her casual punchline! And all the while she’s playing an absolutely heartbreaker of a song that she wrote herself! I wouldn’t know what was wrong with you if you weren’t in awe of Geraghty at this exact moment.”Exeunt Magazine
“For anyone who has ever been or felt ‘fat’, there is a tremendous amount of truth and resonance to Emma’s stories. There is a real sense of acknowledgement of a shared experience and of being seen.”Number 9 Reviews
