The Exhumation of Salvador Dali

R&D project

Is there anyone we owe the truth to? When does it become too late to correct a lie? How much can we trust anything that happens in the public eye?

The Exhumation of Salvador Dali was an R&D project to explore different ways of creating work from a set source material, and ideas of flexible working in the making process. 

​

As part of this project, I put together the thoughts we had around this sort of accessibility in the making process which you can access here. 

​

The project was completed using public funding from Arts Council England, and supported by Theatre in the Mill (Bradford), Unity Theatre (Liverpool), Z-arts (Manchester), and The Hope Theatre (London).

By the end of the project, I had decided that the subject matter was not something I wanted to work with any more, but thanks to open exploration of themes and creative practices in the room, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do moving forwards (stay tuned!)

Team

This was a collaborative process, so there were no set roles (apart from the producer role). Everyone brought different expertise to the room and was an absolute dream to work with.
